In Short

Adjustable Learning

Children can choose from 4 different camp types, with age-specific recommendations, depending on their age and learning needs. 10-12 hours of foreign language instruction per day is provided even in the basic camp.

Inspiring atmosphere

The children spend their days with their mentors from the moment they arrive. Our mentors are foreign university students, the Hungarian teacher/recreation colleagues only provide supervision from the background . These young people, who are close in age to the children, provide a playful, light-hearted atmosphere in which the passive knowledge gained from language classes can be activated and deepened.

A real vacation, in English

The essence of our method is that we make the use of a foreign language natural in the environment of young people who do not speak Hungarian, regardless of the vocabulary our campers arrive with. While we do not prohibit the use of the Hungarian language, inhibitions are automatically dissolved and a thirst for knowledge is aroused.

After living in Canada for many years and experiencing their educational system firsthand, I returned in 2014 to launch a specialized English immersion camp. Every pillar of our program is rooted in my Canadian academic and personal background. Over the past decade, we have empowered thousands of children to bridge the language gap and broaden their global horizons.

Although I have lived in Canada since the age of nine, I have spent every summer here in Hungary. You could say I grew up at Let's Play: my journey began as a counselor back in 2015 when I was 17, and I haven’t missed a summer since.

My real passion lies in the children’s development: witnessing the lifelong bonds they create and the impressive advancement of their English skills. I personally manage our international team on-site daily to ensure your child receives the very best care and experience.

I love all things sports especially ice hockey and softball and I love working with kids. I am very passionate about coaching because it means so much to me, and the girls I coach are a big part of why I love what I do.

International games

Through play, the atmosphere that makes it difficult for so many people to learn a language disappears, opening the door to our natural way of learning a language.

Children are introduced to international sports and games that keep their interest and enthusiasm alive even if they are not otherwise athletic.

I consider myself to have grown up here. I go here every summer and have made lifelong experiences and connections at this camp...not to mention a huge boost in my English.

We have been going to the English-language camp from Austria for how long? 6 years? We haven't missed a single summer, even COVID couldn't keep my son Dani away. The "kid" is now 17 years old, and in recent years he has participated as a youth leader. He always came willingly, he was happy to prepare. A friendly relationship has developed with the camp leaders over the years and he understands each other very well with the other campers and youth leaders (some of whom are also "regular guests"). Nothing unpleasant has ever happened to him, he has never called me to come and pick him up. We have also taken his friends who don't speak Hungarian a few times and they really enjoyed it too! His English has improved amazingly! He wants to stay for three weeks this summer! A teenage big boy goes to camp voluntarily and with singing, love and anticipation! I don't think I can give a better recommendation than that!

Camp was great! I never had so much fun learning English before. It was full of cool activities but we also had enough free time. During this one week I not only made new friends, I also created memories that will last for a long time. The campers learned about different cultures and interacted with people from all over the world. I can't wait to come back next year for more than one week!
